The picturesque town of Bedford, New York is located in the northeastern corner of Westchester County, just over an hour from New York City.
Bedford has three hamlets: Bedford Hills, Bedford Village, and Ketonah. Bedford Hills is currently the largest of the hamlets with more than 3,000 residents.

Bedford belongs to the Bedford Central School District. There are five elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. The school completed a multimillion dollar renovation in 2008 when the entire campus was revamped. Notable alumni of Fox Lane High School include White House Press Secretary for George Bush, Ari Fleischer, and composer Ingram Marshall.
