Croton-on-Hudson’s gorgeous coastline and artistic flare are just part of what gives this village its captivating nature.
Croton-on- Hudson is home to the Bennett Conservatory of Music, which hosts student recitals all year round. The rich artistic influence of past residents is strong, with art galleries and exhibits lining the streets of the village. Water recreation is a favorite pastime in the area, with two rivers bordering the village, and a sailing school that operates during the warmer months. There are plenty of places to be surrounded by nature, as well, with hiking trails along the Croton aqueduct, and fishing, canoeing and picnicking at the Croton Point Park.
Croton-on-Hudson is serviced by both the Amtrak’s Empire Service, as well as the Metro-North Hudson Line. Both stop at the Croton-Harmon station. On Amtrak, the commute is about 35 minutes into Penn Station. The Metro North Hudson Line, going into Grand Central Terminal, has a commute time of about 45 minutes via the express train.
