Martha inherited a deep knowledge and passion for real estate and interior design beginning in childhood. Growing up, Martha moved extensively between the US and Canada, while her mother renovated, restored and decorated several homes along the way. Following her graduation from Boston College - where she double majored in History / Art History, she went on to receive a Master of Arts in Teaching also from BC. Afterwards, she taught history at a boarding school in Switzerland. Returning to the United States, she pursued her passion for interior design and custom textiles, working in Boston, Chicago and New York for Laura Ashley, ABC Carpet and Home and Pierre Deux. Years later and married, Martha and her husband moved to Tuscany, Italy where they jointly embarked on a six-year project to restore a thousand-year old Tuscan hamlet. Together they lovingly breathed life back into the long abandoned estate and transformed it into the luxurious rental property it is today.
