I was born and raised in Connecticut and have lived on the Connecticut shoreline for the last 25 years with my husband and two children. My teenage son and daughter have grown up attending the Old Saybrook School system and are active in various academic, recreational, and social activities, which have allowed our family to develop strong community ties. Prior to moving to Old Saybrook, my husband and I lived in Clinton where we successfully restored an old beach house on Hammock Point, while starting our family and establishing a fond appreciation for the shoreline lifestyle and the friends we have met along the way.
I have had extensive sales and customer service training and experience working as bank branch manager, trust sales coordinator, and insurance and annuity sales. I am proud to say that I have won many awards and accolades for sales and customers service satisfaction. Throughout my years working with these banks I was able to achieve great growth and success for the banks as well as professionally. The experience instilled in me a great aspiration for retail sales working with my customers and clients to address their needs and help them achieve their goals.
My banking experience laid the ground work for me to be well suited for real estate as I always put my clients first and strive to provide superior customer service. I am a member of the Berkshire Hathaway Honor Society and have been recognized as a top agent in multiple categories. It gives me great pleasure to help my clients achieve their objectives whether they are selling their home or trying to find their perfect home that meets their requirements. I am a fighter and a listener and I will always negotiate what is best for my clients, while recognizing the need to close a deal that works for all interested parties.
When I am not out working with my clients you can find me in one my favorite places. My kitchen. Cooking or baking with my daughter. I am an avid gardener and find great solace early mornings tending to the needs of my gardens. Most weekends my family and I are out enjoying all the beautiful Connecticut shoreline has to offer. Boating in the sound, paddle boarding in Saybrook’s North Cove, or strolling on the beach watching the gorgeous sunsets. I am also the Co-Chair-woman of North Cove Yacht Clubs Junior Sailing program, supporter of the Sunshine Kids, and Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
I also am enthusiastic about house design and home furnishings. I adore fabrics and furniture and continually keep myself well read on the latest in home design, trends, and home features. It is a passion of mine but also ensures I am able to know homes and specialty features. In many cases I have helped my clients establish a vision of how their house can be better presented to appeal to potential buyers, or see the hidden potential in a house that can meet their home buying objectives.

I was born and raised in Springfield, MA the oldest of 4 kids. Joining the U.S. Navy after high school I received orders to a class “A” school at the Naval Communication Training Center in Pensacola, Florida. There I developed communications and computer skills, which later came in very useful in sales and contract negotiations. After 4 years of service, both in Europe and at the National Security Agency, (NSA) Fort Meade, Maryland, I leveraged the GI Bill to further my education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I earned a BA in Language while minoring in Business/Marketing.
My business career began in the pharmaceutical industry with Beecham Labs, which eventual transformed into GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. I spent over 30 years at GSK in sales and contract negotiations with hospital systems and managed care organizations. I left pharmaceuticals as Senior Corporate Account Executive with many high achievements and honors in President’s Clubs and Winner’s Circle Awards, which were highlighted by trips to Hawaii, Europe and various U.S. Resorts. The skills and abilities I learned in my sales and negotiating experience have been instrumental in my last few years as a REALTOR® negotiating on behalf of our clients.
While at UMass I met my wonderful bride of over 40 years, Judy. Together we raised our family of 3 wonderful children Michelle, Joe and Sue in Old Saybrook. We have lived in this beautiful community for more than 32 years and our children are all successful graduates of the Old Saybrook School System. My pastime is spent enjoying time with my family including my wife, children and 5 (yes five) grandsons ages 3 to 11. We enjoy traveling together, cooking (particularly with grill and Smoker) as well as golf, gardening and attending the Karate and sports events that my grandsons compete in. With memberships in the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce and the ROTARY Club we are current about what is happening in the community. We look forward to meeting and helping new friends and old alike.
