Previously a minister at the “Fish Church” (Presbyterian) in Stamford, and a psychotherapist, as "Rev. Tom" I helped design and launch Stamford's model Day Care Program, served on the Stamford Board of Education and Coliseum Authority, and continue to encourage theatre arts and music in the surrounding area. A member of the Princeton Club of New York, the Connecticut Critics Circle, and a trustee of the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation. I also serve on the Historic District Commission of New Canaan.
My wife, Sandy, and I live in New Canaan; two sons and a granddaughter are in Portland, Oregon; and a niece and grandniece live in Cambridge, England. I love historic homes with special gardens, I've owned historic properties with exceptional gardens in North Stamford, and preserved a historic home in New Canaan. We live now near the center of town in a home designed by Jim Evans, with an outstanding meadow garden beyond its glass walls.
I'm well known and respected in the Realtors community in and near New Canaan, so I'm in an excellent spot from which to help you navigate selling or buying a home in a special neighborhood. And I appreciate your sharing my name with your friends. I'll always represent the integrity of the Berkshire-Hathaway brand and the good service it signifies. Call or text me or message me. When you need a friend in the marketplace, I'm here. Tom Nissley
