Active listening, education, and information are the keys to Yolanda Lowe's success in real estate.
Her first priority when meeting with new Middlesex or New London County real estate clients is to listen well, so that she understands their needs and wants. From that base of knowledge, she acts as an advisor, educating them on every step of the buying and selling process and providing the procedural and market information they need to make wise decisions.
For Yolanda, one size does not fit all when it comes to the information, education and attention clients want and need. She's found that some clients are independent and want to do much of their own research. Others are at the opposite end of the spectrum and may even want to involve other family members who also need to be kept up to date. Her goal is to give each individual client the style and level of service they prefer.
Toward this end, Yolanda stays on top of both changes in the local market and advances in marketing and communications technology. She also adds to her real estate knowledge and skills through specialized classes. She's the past president of her Connecticut CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) Chapter and takes full advantage of the classes and certifications available through the Connecticut Board of Realtors.
In addition to CRS, her designations include GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert), and most recently, CIPS.
CIPS stands for Certified International Property Specialist and is a designation through which she plans to make full use of her bilingualism. Born in Italy, Yolanda is fluent in Italian as well as English.
Managing details and juggling the many aspects of a transaction is a skill which Yolanda brought to real estate from her previous position. A licensed Interior Designer, she spent more than 20 years as an Interior Designer and Project Manager for Fortune 500 company facilities.
Because Yolanda has created an extensive referral network with agents across the country, she's often privileged to introduce newcomers to the quaint towns, beautiful beaches, fantastic seafood, and casual lifestyle that drew her and her husband to the Connecticut shore. If you want to know a few good reasons to move to Middlesex or New London County, she'll be glad to show you.
Yolanda also gives back to her community. As a member of Child and Family Agency, Essex Auxiliary, she serves as on some committees and chairs fundraising events throughout the year. She also participates in and raises money for the Terri Brouder Breast Cancer marathon each October.
When not busy with real estate clients or community events, Yolanda enjoys walking, knitting, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her husband Bill, family and friends – including Bella, the Maltipoo that she says is the "Love of our lives."
