Clinton is located on the scenic shores of Long Island Sound, offering year-round and summer residents all the pleasures of seaside living in a warm and friendly town.

About 100 miles from Boston or New York, Clinton is also an easy ride to New Haven, Middletown and Hartford. During the summer, the population of Clinton swells to about 20,000 with seasonal residents. Town shops and outlet stores cater to diverse shopping needs and interests.

The community offers a wide range of housing. New construction, early American homes, older traditional structures and contemporaries are available along the shore and throughout town.

Recreational activities abound at the beaches and inland facilities, including an active recreation center. Naturalists and adventurous hikers also enjoy access to hundreds of acres of conservation woodlands and salt marshes.
