North Franklin

The village of North Franklin, Connecticut is located in the town of Franklin. It is situated in the southeastern corner of the state.

North Franklin was originally named West Farms and was part of nearby Norwich. It was later named after the famed Benjamin Franklin. North Franklin offers peaceful surroundings and hometown charm. The town was settled by John Ayers, whose family name still exists in the area today.

Franklin was settled as an agricultural town. However, it has become more industrialized in the past several decades. Today, construction, truck driving, and sales are all common occupations in the North Franklin area.
