I have been a Realtor since 2001. My background before that was in retail. I managed a million dollar counter selling women's fragrances for a major retailer. The challenges of managing a staff, coordinating with multiple vendors, getting enormous amounts of stock on the floor and displaying it, all while maintaining record breaking sales were offset by fabulous parties in NYC and perks from vendors such as Chanel, Donna Karan, Gucci, etc. It was a fun career!
I decided to pursue getting my Realtor's license, as I was looking for something more fulfilling. What I have now, as a full-time Realtor, is a job that is challenging, varied and much more rewarding. Helping clients with the most important purchase in their lives is a great feeling. This is where they will be spending the quality time of their lives - raising kids, entertaining friends and family, and making memories. It doesn't get better than to help them find the perfect home for that.
Having a retail background, I understand the importance of good customer service. It is all about making the challenges and complexities of home buying fall into place with as little stress to my clients as possible. How I do that is by knowing the market, having a good rapport with my fellow agents, inspectors and lawyers. I also take courses to keep up with the trends and changes that occur in the business. I have achieved the GRI designation. The Graduate Realtor Institute designation is the highest designation in real estate and is only achieved by a few Realtors. It is a course taken over a year which goes into depth on a variety of aspects of the business.
I am originally from Burlington, Vermont, where I love to visit as often as possible. I am the proud mother of Josh, Courtney and Caitlin, all of whom I have helped find their perfect homes. I look forward to meeting you and helping you find your perfect home!
