Having had parents in the real estate business, I learned at an early age that a home is something very special! Growing up in Westchester County, my home was located in a neighborhood of tree-lined streets, backyards and sidewalks. Almost everything we wanted or needed could be reached on foot and we walked almost everywhere - to school, the local grocery store, the ball field, the church and to our friends’ houses. Home was – and is – more than just a place. It’s a feeling of comfort and community, well-being and belonging. Home is where we can be who we really are and share our lives with those we love.
What I most enjoy about real estate is the opportunity to connect and build relationships with people from all walks of life! To me, building a relationship begins with listening, so I work hard at being a good listener and a helpful and responsive partner. Whether you’re selling a home you love or searching for the home of your dreams, understanding what home means to you is something I strive for. I also think it’s important to be patient and flexible, since the needs of buyers and sellers aren’t always in sync. Ultimately, I hope to earn your complete confidence and trust.
Prior to becoming a NYS-Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and Realtor®, I spent many years working as an analyst and business writer in the construction machinery industry and in New York City’s publishing arena. Throughout the years, I’ve developed an ease with communication and technology, which are essential in today’s real estate practice. With the additional designation of CBR®, I have advanced training as a Certified Buyer’s Representative, allowing me to provide a greater level of service to my clients.
On a personal note, I’m a Rye resident and married to the town's long-time high school football coach, Dino Garr – whose coaching history is a legendary chapter in the Rye Garnets’ proud tradition. As you might guess, I’m a devoted fan of the team and can usually be found in the cheering section during football season. So if you’re ever around on a Friday night in the Fall, I hope you’ll stop by and say hello!
