My family and I lived in a rented apartment until I was in middle school. My parents worked hard but homeownership was out of reach for decades. I vividly remember the day my parents announced that they were able to purchase a house. It was a small ranch with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath (for six people) but it might as well have been a castle; they had attained their dream of homeownership and made that house into our home! That memory, and the indelible pride it evoked, is a big part of who I am today and is what sparked my interest in becoming a real estate agent. I know that regardless of whether it is a first home or a dream home, I will be helping folks find their castle. And I take that responsibility to heart.
I was born and raised in East Hartford, attended local schools, held my first jobs and developed lifelong friendships there. For the past 30 years, I have lived in Rocky Hill with my husband, Rob, where we raised two sons. Our puppy, Patrick, joined the family last year. I am quite familiar with the towns of East Hartford, Glastonbury, Rocky Hill and Wethersfield and have been lucky enough to also know and love the Connecticut shoreline, where my husband’s family put down roots in Westbrook close to 100 years ago!
I am a graduate of UConn where I earned I bachelor’s degree, with a focus in human services. Having worked in the insurance industry for many years, I have a background in the marketing arena. More recently, I served as an executive assistant at Goodwin College. I am energetic, enthusiastic and diligent.
In my free time, I enjoy running, cheering on the UConn Huskies, cooking, exploring new restaurants and playing with Patrick.
