The town of Wethersfield, Connecticut is located in Hartford County. It has a population of over 26,000 people. Wethersfield is located along the Connecticut River and borders Hartford, Newington and Rocky Hill.  

The town’s motto “Ye Most Auncient Towne in Connecticut” represent its rich history. Established in 1634, Wethersfield is located in a central part of Connecticut. The town has easy access to Hartford and surrounding towns via several major state highways. 

The neighborhood of Old Wethersfield is the state’s largest historic district and is home to the Silas Dean House, Jospeh Webb House and Buttolph-Williams House, which are all listed as National Historic Landmarks. Wethersfield has a total of over 150 distinctive Colonial homes.

In addition to numerous boutique shops and popular restaurants, Wethersfield has several attractions including Wethersfield Museum, Webb Stevens Museum, Wethersfield Cove and Old Wethersfield.
