The town of Woodstock, Connecticut is a charming town located in Windham County. Woodstock is a picturesque town in what is called the “Quiet Corner” of Northeastern Connecticut. It has a rural setting with scenic views of rolling hills. Woodstock has a population of over 8,000 people.
Settled in 1686, Woodstock was a farming town and maintains much of its rural character. Many farms and equestrian properties can be found in Woodstock. In the town’s center known as Woodstock Hill, there are several small shops and cafes.
The town of Woodstock has several attractions including the Roseland Cottage, a historic gothic revival summer house that is also known as the Pink House. Woodstock is also home to Taylor Brooke Winery and Woodstock Academy, a co-educational college preparatory high school that was founded in 1801.
