Peace Dale

The village of Peace Dale, Rhode Island is located in Kingstown in the southeastern part of the state.

The Peace Dale historic district has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1987.

Many brick buildings and stone buildings add old-world charm to the streets of Peace Dale.

There are currently around 8,000 residents between the villages of Peace Dale and neighboring Wakefield.

The University of Rhode Island is just five minutes from Peace Dale; therefore many professors reside in the town. Most residents have a 15-20 minute commute to work each day. The state's capital, Providence, is about 40 minutes away by car.

Peace Dale is part of the South Kingstown Public School District. Children in grades K-5 attend the Peace Dale Elementary School. Older children attend the South Kingstown High School located in nearby Wakefield. With its excellent schools, rich entrepreneurial history and beautiful architecture, Peace Dale is an charming place to plant roots.
