The village of Rockville, Rhode Island is located in the northern area of the town of Hopkinton. Wincheck Pond Road, Canochet Road, and News Street meet at Spring Street, or route 138, and form the area of Rockville.

Rockville is a very small and very rural village. It does, however, have its own zip code. Many of the buildings in the village are more than one hundred years old.

The tiny village is located at the head of Wincheck Pond. Outdoor enthusiasts are able to enjoy canoeing and fishing on the pond. Yawgoog Pond, Blue Pond, and Long Pond are also nearby and offer similar amenities for the outdoorsmen.

Rockville is a border town to Connecticut and is just around a half an hour drive to the popular towns of Mystic and New London. Providence is just 45 minutes by car.
