I have been full time Realtor, since 1999, have lived
here most of my life and raised my children here, a “local”.
Many call it “home” for lots of reasons…..
Mystic: known for the Mystic Seaport, an 18th
century sea village and the Mystic Aquarium and Institute of Exploration, where
you not only see fish, turtles and seals but a new Titanic exhibit by Robert
Ballard. Mystic is a wonderful place to wander among the shops, dine, and enjoy
the splendor of the antique homes along the River.
Groton/Gales Ferry is called the “submarine capital of
the world” and is home to a sub school for the elite in the Navy, with
submarines being designed and created right down the Thames River at Electric Boat/General
Dynamics
Living here is a wonderful experience from the fresh
ocean breezes to the local farm grown goods and fantastic beaches just minutes
away in Rhode Island. (Connecticut coastline is a bit rocky thanks to the glaciers
that cut out Long Island Sound)
