About Maureen:

Maureen has been a Realtor since 1988. She has 24 years of experience of selling real estate, 20 of which she was Broker/Owner of her own franchise. Maureen's real estate career has always been focused in Middletown, East Haddam and the Connecticut River Valley. Maureen feels her strongest assets to be her love for the business of real estate and her extensive experience in this challenging field.

"When you do something you love, success surely follows." There's no denying that real estate can be difficult, but Maureen loves what she does and the end result is measured by the satisfaction she receives from helping buyers and sellers achieve their home ownership goals.

Maureen's experience as a broker/owner of her own company allowed her to mentor young women who never had the opportunity for a career as rewarding as real estate. In the business of Real Estate, women can achieve great success and find independence and freedom which was particularly gratifying to Maureen.

As a strong advocate and dedicated believer that honesty is the best policy, Maureen believes in working diligently to improve her professional knowledge and increase professionalism in the real estate business. "I think the most important quality a sales person can have is integrity, and understanding the ethics of our business is the most important training you can be given. This type of training fosters fair play and honesty and at the end of the day, the rewards for the effort far exceed those of monetary value."

Maureen has served as President of the MiddShore Association of Realtors, Chair of the Professional Standards Committee and earned the REALTOR of the Year Award by the MiddShore Association of Realtors. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Association of REALTORS and on the CAR Legislative Committee for the State. In addition, Maureen is a Professional Standards Certified Specialist. She is a Graduate of the Realtor's Institute (GRI) and an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR). Maureen has been an extremely successful real estate agent from the beginning of her career earning top awards.

Maureen was born and raised in Middletown and currently lives in East Haddam. She is a graduate of Boston University and prior to real estate she was a Management Analyst for the State of CT.
