Sheri Asklar is an outstanding real estate professional. I am happy to have this opportunity to tell you about my experience selling my house with her. At age 73, this was the first time in my life selling a home. To ease into the process, I interviewed a few real estate agents before selecting Sheri. I selected her because she seemed to be the most acquainted with the housing market in my local area. She had obviously done her homework and was confident that I should ask for a listing price that was higher than I thought it would be. Sheri guided me through the listing process and provided me with suggestions as to how to best present the house for listing it on the MLS, and just as importantly helped me get it ready for the open house. As fate would have it, I was away on vacation when the video of the house was prepared. Sheri made sure that the videography was done on a day that presented the house in the best light and made sure that the house was in fine order. I was knocked out by the quality of the video and felt assured that I had made the right decision to select her as my agent and Berkshire Hathaway as my real estate brokerage. A really critical part of her performance was helping me negotiate smoothly with the offers that were presented. In this case there was an early offer for above the listing price, but the potential buyers asked for many improvements that would have cost me more money and more headaches. That contract was terminated and she was quickly ready to jump in to provide support and set up another open house for that week. It was during the second open house that we found the perfect buyer for my home. I always felt that Sheri was very motivated to sell my house and I never felt I was just a client. Rather, I was a client she cared about. Most of the time she immediately took my calls, and when I left her a voicemail I was always contacted within just a few minutes... she was always available to hold my hand when I needed to be walked through a process. She utilized all the scheduling tools available to me and this made keeping track of appointments so easy. Overall, Sheri made the entire selling process a very pleasant experience for me!

Sheri is thoughtful and kind and knowledgeable about buying and selling houses she is calm and kept me on track for what to do and when. This was the second time using her. She helped our son buy his first home and now helped us sell ours. Sheri is an angel and we couldn’t have done it without her I would highly recommend her and thank her for all she did for us

Sheri helped me to purchase our home. She was wonderful. We never felt pressured and she patiently showed us place after place over months until our perfectionistic needs were met. She was savvy with the internet, but also provided secondary paper copies of houses she thought we would like. Her schedule was always flexible and she was available nearly at the drop of a hat for showings. She held our hand through the entire buying process from beginning to the very end and was easily available to us after the purchase for questions. Her advice was always with a great breadth of knowledge and sound. After the purchase, she continued to provide support when we needed referrals for everything from business to entertainment.
