We chose Greg to lead our search for a new home on the southeastern Conn shoreline because of his extensive experience and knowledge of that market. When we decided to sell our house in Florida and condo in Old Saybrook, we presented Greg with a list of requirements for our new home. He enabled us to view real-time listings online. One Sunday morning, in our email inbox, we saw a listing for a house on the shoreline that ticked off most of the boxes on our requirements list. Because of our experience selling our Florida house (which received 7 written offers within 24 hours of the going-live listing), we knew we had to act fast. We called Greg and asked him to arrange an immediate showing. Greg was busy with a home improvement project at his house but dropped everything. We toured the house within 3 hours of viewing it online and directed Greg to make an offer on our behalf since there was at least one pending offer already. Greg confirmed our instinct to exceed the listing price and we won the house that evening. Greg then arranged a home inspection, to occur just a few days later. When the inspection report highlighted house and property issues, Greg provided solid estimates of costs associated with the most important matters. Those figures then prompted Greg to request of the seller a significant reduction in the contract price in lieu of the seller taking care of the problems. Greg negotiated that request with the seller's agent and we were able to reduce the purchase price of the house. Because of his tenure in the area market, Greg referred us to well-regarded service providers (such as excavators and septic companies) whom we've since engaged. Greg expertly steered us through the closing process, which occurred with no drama. In all our dealings with Greg and his Young Team associate, we were impressed with his unflappable demeanor, his matter-of-fact "can-do" attitude, and his timely responsiveness to our questions and concerns.
